At Sapa Soaps we care greatly about the ingredients we use in our handmade soap. We purchase our ingredients from reputable and where possible, small businesses in the UK. We enjoy a personal and friendly relationship with our suppliers and want to give the same level of care to our customers.

We believe in supporting the ethics of the environment and only ever use ingredients from sustainable sources in our products. These may cost a little extra but we don’t want to have a negative impact in any way on our planet.

Oils and Butters

We have used oils and butters which are known for their highly moisturising and skin conditioning properties. These include coconut oil and shea butter.  We blend other beneficial oils to produces a rich creamy lather to produce a hard, long lasting bar.

As a company we only purchase Palm oil from suppliers who can prove their products are supplied by a certified RSPO member. The Palm oil we purchase is fully authenticated vegetable oil that ticks every environmental box. It contains 100% RSPO palm oil. It is fully traceable back to its source and the manufacturer is independently verified by RSPO so you can be sure of its true origin.

Essential Oils/Fragrance Oils

All essential oils used are 100% pure. The blends used in the soaps are created by Jane using her 20 years experience as a qualified aromatherapist. We only use essential oils from sustainable sources. Fragrance oils contain synthetic and natural botanicals. All of our products have safety assessments in line with European Commission regulations and have been assessed by a qualified Cosmetic Chemist.
